Face and Skin

Argan Oil is known as nature's ultimate anti-aging product. It is extremely high in Vitamin E, essential fatty acids, antioxidants, sterols, polyphenols, and carotenoids. Argan Oil also contains squalene, which has been promoted as having anti-cancer properties. Argan Oil is good for both dry and oily skin types.

Because it helps to regulate the sebaceous glands (oil producing glands), oil on the skin will lessen and issues such as acne are greatly improved. For basic skin care, Argan Oil can be used as a daily moisturizer and as a makeup base.

It is also useful for skin conditions such as: psoriasis, eczema, dry skin, contact dermatitis, inflammation, acne, wrinkles, scarring, minor burns and cracked heels. In arthritic and rheumatic conditions in which joints are damaged, Argan Oil soothes and reduces pain. Argan Oil also produces excellent results on new tattoos by soothing the area, decreasing itchiness and helping the skin to heal quickly.  In addition, it is ideal to use after waxing, laser treatments and even chemical peels. Usage: Apply in a circular motion to clean skin morning and night until absorbed. Be sure to include the area around your eyes. You will be able to see a difference within a few days of consistent use. Those with dry skin like to use it morning and night, while some with oilier skin like to just use once per day.

    Hi Sarvina!

    Thanks for your note.

The oil does seem to work best on damp, exfoliated skin. Feel free to experiment!

And the vast majority of people who have used our oil for acne said that they were very happy with results. With that said, we have had 2 or 3 over the years who did not have such great results. But it is certainly worth a try — especially considering over 99% of our customers were thrilled. It’s good to at least try a product that is 100% natural and healthy.

As for how it works? It helps to regulate the sebum in your skin. It also has antimicrobial and anti inflammatory properties. And finally it is full of vitamin E which contains anti oxidants which helps with the healing process.

    I hope this helps.

    Warmly,

    Joèl

Should my face be damp before I apply the oil at night? Also, does this actually help in acne? If so, what is the concept behind it treating acne? Thank you! :)

    Hello!

Thanks for your note on our blog. :)

As for packaging, when a producer/distributor is truly educated in the precious qualities of Argan Oil and the enormous time and money it takes to make it, they would not want to do anything to harm it. Even decent quality olive oil isn’t put into plastic or clear bottles.

But does this mean the oil your are speaking of is fake? Perhaps not. It might be derived from Argan fruit. However, the quality is most likely not the best. If the manufacturer isn’t worried about using cheap plastic bottles, they are certainly not worried about using excessive heat or chemical solvents to help them get the highest yield possible.

At Saadia Organics, even our smallest bottles are always made of glass. I know how many gruelling hours of hard work goes into each and every ounce. Blue or amber are most popular. But green or black (or any other dark colour) would be fine, too.

    I hope this helps.

    Warmly,

Hi there ! I have a quick question about Aragon oil and it’s packing . Someone I once bought Aragon oil from packaged their oil in a amber color plastic bottle and not a glass one. Was their product fake and is it absolutely necessary for Aragon oil to be atored in a (amber or blue) glass bottle no matter how little the amount ?! . Hope to hear from you soon . Thank you !

    Hi Kamila!

    Sorry for the late reply.

Argan Oil has a shelf life of 24 months and ours is no exception. Just keep the cap or dropper screwed on well for maximum freshness.

Our oil is entirely cold pressed by hand — it never gets warmer than room temperature. It’s a labour intensive process, but the results are worth it!

    I hope this helps,

    Joèl
