Argan Oil for Nails: Ainslie's Finger Blues

Following is my experience using Argan Oil for nails...how it helped me to stop being embarrassed about my hands: As a hair stylist, my hands are very important. Sadly, they are also usually the most mangled part of my body. Constantly in water, chemicals, and handling very sharp tools, my fingers became more and more embarrassing to me. Aside from those factors, I had a terrible habit of picking at them when I became stressed. They became worse and worse and were very painful. During the holidays, I made a resolution: to fix my fingers. Being ashamed of your hands is awful. And I was sick of it. It took me two weeks to heal them completely. I consciously stopped picking. I washed them with organic and natural soaps and kept them well-hydrated and protected with Argan Oil. The first night, after I scrubbed my fingers with a brush, they ached. But as soon as I applied the Argan Oil, they immediately began to feel better. It was very soothing. Within one week, they were almost completely healed. And now, two weeks later, they are better than they have ever been. I am actually proud of my hands now. What I used:
  • Organic vegan soap
  • Saadia Organics Argan Oil (several times a day and overnight, applied directly to nails and cuticles immediately after washing)

And that's it!  Have a look:

I was so pleased with the results, I treated myself to a fun manicure.
