THE PRODUCT
Our “liquid gold” is lovingly handmade in Morocco and it heals and nourishes the skin and hair of people (and pets!) of absolutely every age. There is an enormous demand for natural, chemical-free beauty and wellness products. And well-made Argan Oil is the ultimate solution. We are tirelessly committed to continuing to bring a product to the market that is authentic, eco-friendly and ethical.
There are currently many other brands of Argan Oil available. Some are not even true Argan Oil at all, while others are diluted with cheaper oils and questionable ingredients. Even if a brand is indeed offering “pure” Argan Oil, it will have been made by machine - which always involves heating the oil to high temperatures and sometimes even involves using chemical solvents. Saadia Organics only produces 100% pure, authentic Argan Oil by using the most traditional method. And this method does not use heat or chemicals which harm some of the oil’s best properties.
We also value that our product is eco-friendly. One interesting fact is that Argan Oil is made from a fruit which is only of interest to goats in the Moroccan countryside. Those goats are willing to go to great heights to eat Argan fruit. But unfortunately, their climbing damages the branches of these precious and protected trees. So Saadia Organics only purchases fruit from goat-free farms. In addition, our Production Manager in Morocco owns farmland and has planted countless Argan trees on her property which will allow us access to the fruit from our own farm in the future.
Saadia Organics is also committed to offering Argan Oil that is ethical. Most Argan Oil producers operate under the guise of “women’s cooperatives”. But unfortunately, true cooperatives are very hard to find. Most are run by business people who take advantage of the women in the countryside and pay them very low wages to crack Argan pits in their shops. These marginalized and modest women are doing laborious work in front of the eyes and cameras of tourists. At Saadia Organics, we exclusively hire single mothers at Canadian wages to make the oil for us in a private, fun and nurturing environment.

OUR TEAM
Joèl Adrienne Amzil is the Owner and Founder of Saadia Organics Inc. She started the company in 2011 with a friend, and then took over as the sole owner in 2015. She currently resides close to Vancouver in Richmond, BC, Canada.
Saadia is the Production Manager who lives in the beautiful seaside town of Essaouira, Morocco. She has been making Argan Oil for over five decades and enthusiastically oversees every drop of oil that goes into the blue bottles that bear her name.
Joèl and Saadia are not only in business together, they are also family. Joèl married Saadia’s son in Essaouira back in 2003.
